On May 27, 2017, Miranda Kerr, Victoria’s Secret’s first ever Australian model, married Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel in the most breathtaking wedding dress. The couple got engaged last July, and were beyond ecstatic to finally start the rest of their lives together.
The wedding was held in their home, with just 45 friends and family in the intimate affair.
Her gown was designed by the artistic director of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri, who is pictured below standing to Kerr’s left.
The designer said she drew inspiration from Grace Kelly’s iconic dress.
Kerr told Vogue, “I think it’s every girl’s dream to have Dior design her wedding dress. [I wanted] a dress that fully covers you and creates a sense of mystery and purity. I’ve had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be more wild, free and bohemian. But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back. My greatest sources of inspiration have always been Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, and my grandmother. Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress.”
Kerr sure nailed the classic, vintage beauty that those women of the past embodied. She looks gorgeous in old-fashioned charm, and her simple makeup and hair ensure that the focus is on the design of the dress.
