For Disney fans, The Disney Store has been a godsend for decades.
The online shopping experience, which has retail stores at malls and outlets across America and throughout the world, was the first “retail-ment” or entertainment store and has grown significantly from its flagship location in Glendale, California in 1987.
And if you can’t get to a Disney store or can’t find exactly what you are looking for at one, you can purchase just about every Disney-inspired item you can think of through the company’s online store.
Toys, Costumes, books, movies, collectibles – if you can dream it, Disney has it.
They also have something else now, too.
Now Open: The Dress Shop On Cherry Tree Lane
If you are a Disney-crazed princess in your own right, you can now dress like one of your favorite characters in a more practical sense – aka without having to buy a costume.
Disney’s The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane in Disney Springs offers ladies of all styles, shapes, and sizes the opportunity to own princess-inspired dresses for around $100.
“We designed The Dress Shop collection for guests who want to emulate their favorite Disney characters or theme park attractions in a fun, retro way,” explained Disney merchandiser Donna Sorrow.
“These items aren’t costumes, rather the collection contains perfect outfits for guests who have a passion for Disney style,” Sorrow added.
It Took A Year Of Development, But The Shop Is Now Open
“The dress styles are classic in design and contain incredible little details,” Sorrow continued. “Yet all the styles have modern fits which make them wonderful outfits to wear when visiting Disney Parks.”
The Original Princess Snow White’s Dress
Aside from the Princess dresses, Disney was sure to include garments with a nod to the theme park giant’s most famous attractions such as Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, “It’s a small world,” The Haunted Mansion, and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Haunted Mansion Dress
Not only does Disney offer dresses, but they offer accessories to pair up with their innovative outfits. The Haunted Mansion dress (above) will run you $118, with a matching small bag at $198 and a larger version coming in at $268.
It may sound a little pricey, but nothing’s too good for a princess, right?
